Vimoza 5% minoxidil with Biotin topical solution for hair regrowth

Overview

Vimoza 5% minoxidil with biotin topical solution is a product designed to treat hair loss by promoting hair regrowth on the top of the scalp. It combines minoxidil, a recognized hair growth agent, with biotin and other natural extracts to support scalp health.

What is it used for?

This product is specifically intended to treat hair loss on the top of the scalp in adults. It is not recommended for use on the front of the scalp or receding hairlines, nor is it suitable for individuals under 18 years old or infants.

Active ingredients

Minoxidil 5% w/v; Biotin

How it works

Minoxidil, the primary active ingredient, works by stimulating hair follicles to promote hair regrowth and slow balding. The addition of biotin and herbal extracts may help nourish the scalp and support healthier hair.

Dosage and administration

  • Apply one milliliter (equivalent to 5 sprays) twice daily directly to the scalp in the hair loss area.
  • Do not apply more frequently or in greater amounts, as this will not improve results.
  • Consistent use is necessary to maintain hair regrowth; stopping the treatment will result in hair loss resuming.

Contraindications

  • Do not use on children under 18 years of age or babies.
  • Not intended for use on frontal baldness or receding hairlines.
  • Do not apply to inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful scalp areas.

Warnings and precautions

  • For external use only.
  • Keep away from fire or flame due to flammable ingredients.
  • Consult a doctor before use if you have heart disease.
  • May be harmful if used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Do not use if your hair loss is sudden, patchy, on the front scalp, or if you have no family history of hair loss.
  • Avoid use if your scalp is red, inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful.
  • Avoid contact with eyes; in case of accidental contact, rinse with large amounts of cool water.
  • Use with caution if you are using other medicines on the scalp.
  • Results can vary; it may take 2 months to see regrowth, with some needing at least 4 months.
